Competition and Events

We have supported many of the School Sport Partnerships in the West Midlands with their Your School Games Gymnastics competitions in the past. We organised activities at the Birmingham Level 3 final for the children who were identified as emerging gymnasts at their Level 2 competition. Now the Your School Games competition structure has changed Positive PE is supporting the School Games Organisers (SGOs) to provide gymnastics festivals to showcase and celebrate children’s passion for gymnastics.

At Positive PE we are keen to ensure that inter school gymnastics competitions remain an opportunity for pupils in Birmingham. We feel there is value and development opportunities to celebrate gymnastics talent through both festival style events and in friendly competitions.

Your School Games gymnastics competitions in Birmingham focused on opportunities for lower Key Stage Two. It is our aim to work with SGOs to engage and KS1 and upper KS2 in gymnastics festivals and competitions. There are hundreds of enthusiastic and talented children in Birmingham that would love the more gymnastics opportunities through their schools! In 2022 Positive PE will be hosting inter school events for children to continue to develop their love for gymnastics and showcase their skills. 

Positive PE can organise and host inter or intra gymnastics competition for your school or School Sport Partnership, provide judges for your competitions, and help to prepare your pupils for upcoming events.

We are looking forward to organising, hosting and collaborating on many more across city events similar to the two below and also expanding to host events for individual schools at amazing sporting venues.
